On April 7-9, the 11th Energy Storage International Conference and Expo (hereinafter referred to as "ESIE 2023") was successfully held in Shougang Exhibition & Convention Center, Beijing.

VREMT has been committed in the field of pack, battery, e-drive and OBC for ten years, and is now making efforts in energy storage field. At ESIE 2023, VREMT concluded agreement about constructing 300 MW/600 MWh Energy Storage Power Station Projects in Zhijiang City and 1 GWh Energy Storage Power Station Project in Yingcheng City respectively with Zhijiang Municipal People’s Government and Yingcheng Municipal People’s Government, assisting the local governments in low-carbon transition and high-quality economic development in Zhijiang and Yingcheng.

At ESIE 2023, Tang Jiayi, General Manager of Energy Storage Business Division of VREMT, launched the energy storage ecological products, including cabinet energy storage product, containerized energy storage product, DC side energy storage product, household energy storage product, portable energy storage product and smart microgrid solution. Based on the above, VREMT created comprehensive energy service ability integrating hardware product and software system, meeting user’s diversified and multi-scenario requirement on energy storage.

Tang Jiayi emphatically introduced the three core advantages of VREMT’s energy storage products: safety, intelligence and modularization. In terms of safety, VREMT’s energy storage product system applies the industry-leading four-in-one intrinsic safety design of “predict, prevent, resist and improve”, giving safety guarantee from multiple dimensions. In the light of intelligence, VREMT achieves intelligent energy management and improves the energy management efficiency via mutually matched software and hardware ecologies. Modular design improves the delivery efficiency by 50% and satisfies user's customization requirement.

At ESIE 2023, VREMT firstly launched two blockbuster products across the world: liquid-cooled cabinet energy storage product that adopting the industrial Internet and group control technology and fully integrating VREMT's three advantages and was launched first in the industry, and household energy storage product that can meet more family scenarios.

VREMT's liquid-cooled cabinet energy storage product firstly launched in the world supports either independent operation per cluster or free combination to achieve comprehensive coverage and compatibility with charging stations of low and high capacity. It is applicable to new energy configuration energy storage, independent and sharing energy storage, industrial and commercial user side energy storage and other application scenarios.

Four features of liquid-cooled cabinet energy storage product

First, adopting modular distributed architecture and standardized design, and can realize full pre-installation and full debugging in plant, full-load capacity test and superior quality management and control;

Second, the system temperature difference can be controlled at 3℃ relying on efficient intelligent liquid-cooled control, giving longer service life;

Third, higher safety, reliability and efficiency attributing to the intelligent door lock, intelligent black box and other intelligent O&M technologies as well as independently researched cloud digital products;

Fourth, absence of battery cell thermal runaway isolation, the pack-level fire prevention and cloud AI warning improve the safety performance exponentially.

At ESIE 2023, Zhijiang Municipal People’s Government and Yingcheng Municipal People’s Government, Hubei Province concluded the investment and construction agreements about 300 MW/600 MWh and 1 GWh Energy Storage Power Station Projects respectively with VREMT.

The two energy storage power station projects will be the new highland for energy storage industry in Hubei Province after construction, injecting new momentum for high-quality economic development in the two cities.
