According to the data on the installed capacity of electric drive systems for new energy passenger vehicles in March 2024, VREMT’s electric drive system and electronic control system had an installed capacity of 22,724 sets, while the motor system had an installed capacity of 22,838 sets, both showing a year-on-year growth of 51.1%, ranking sixth, tenth, and eighth on their respective lists.
The strong performance of VREMT’s March sales volume is inseparable from the market efforts of key models such as ZEEKR 007. Currently, VREMT’s electric drive system is fully equipped in all ZEEKR models, providing users with a powerful driving experience. From ZEEKR’s first model, ZEEKR 001, equipped with the VREMT electric drive system, to now the VREMT electric drive system covering all ZEEKR models, WREMT and ZEEKR are further deepening their business integration in their respective developments, mutually supporting each other in the market.
VREMT electric drive empowers Galaxy E8’s nationwide meet-and-greets with strong performance
As an important part of Geely’s new energy transformation, the VREMT electric drive products are also installed on the highly anticipated Geely Galaxy. Recently, the Geely Galaxy E8 arrived in the mountain city of Chongqing for the “Challenge City Landmark Circuit”, challenging the magical underground circuit of Chongqing and bringing a different driving experience to Chongqing vehicle users.
Currently, the Geely Galaxy E8 offers 7 models with two powertrain options: rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. These two powertrain versions are equipped with three electric drive systems: 165kW, 200kW, and 310kW, all of which are sourced from VREMT. It can be said that the impressive 3.49-second 0-100 km/h acceleration of the Geely Galaxy E8 is also empowered by VREMT.
