From March 28th to 29th, the 2024 Battery Craftsman Annual Conference was held in Shanghai, and the VREMT 800V battery won the Annual Excellent Battery Innovation Award.
The VREMT 800V battery has a maximum charge rate of 4.5C, and it only takes 15 minutes to increase the range by 500km. It incorporates several innovative technologies, such as dual-rivet post current guide design, electrode stack multi-pole ear structure design, and lithium ion acceleration technology, making charging faster and more efficient.

In order to further verify its safety quality, it has also undergone three major extreme safety tests: overpressure needle puncture test, 240s fire test, and Devil serial test, which is an industry-first.
In addition to winning the “Annual Excellent Battery Innovation Award”, at this conference, Guo Chenfeng, a senior expert and doctor from the VREMT Energy Storage Division, also gave a speech on the topic of “Technical Sharing on Lithium Battery Energy Storage Safety”. Regarding the development of the energy storage industry, Guo pointed out: “The energy storage industry is booming, with strong demand, and it will continue to grow exponentially in the coming years. However, as the number of large-scale energy storage projects increases and the size of individual energy storage projects becomes larger, the safety risks of energy storage also increase.”
To address the pain points of energy storage safety, it is important to establish and implement standardized safety measures for energy storage systems at different stages of project construction. This includes upgrading thermal management technology for energy storage, improving battery consistency and monitoring technology, and establishing an effective after-sales operation and maintenance system. These measures are crucial in effectively preventing thermal runaway in lithium-ion batteries.
