The VREMT 800V battery has a maximum charge rate of 4.5C, and it only takes 15 minutes to increase the range by 500km. It incorporates several innovative technologies, such as dual-rivet post current guide design, electrode stack multi-pole ear structure design, and lithium ion acceleration technology, making charging faster and more efficient.

In addition, by adopting efficient integrated design, its volume utilization rate can reach 83.7%, which is 10% higher than traditional design in terms of battery mass energy density, achieving the same endurance capacity as ternary lithium batteries using lithium iron phosphate.

The VREMT 800V battery achieves both fast charging and safety. It adopts the world’s most stringent safety certification standards and incorporates 8 major thermo-safety protection technologies to achieve NTP (non-thermal plasma) and prevent fire. In order to further verify its safety quality, it has also undergone three major extreme safety tests: overpressure needle puncture test, 240s fire test, and Devil serial test, which is an industry-first.

In addition to winning the “Annual Excellent Battery Innovation Award”, at this conference, Guo Chenfeng, a senior expert and doctor from the VREMT Energy Storage Division, also gave a speech on the topic of “Technical Sharing on Lithium Battery Energy Storage Safety”. Regarding the development of the energy storage industry, Guo pointed out: “The energy storage industry is booming, with strong demand, and it will continue to grow exponentially in the coming years. However, as the number of large-scale energy storage projects increases and the size of individual energy storage projects becomes larger, the safety risks of energy storage also increase.”

VREMT

To address the pain points of energy storage safety, it is important to establish and implement standardized safety measures for energy storage systems at different stages of project construction. This includes upgrading thermal management technology for energy storage, improving battery consistency and monitoring technology, and establishing an effective after-sales operation and maintenance system. These measures are crucial in effectively preventing thermal runaway in lithium-ion batteries.

In energy storage safety, VREMT persistently upholds innovation. VREMT’s pioneering “prevention and treatment” quartet of integrated safety design has emerged as a first in China, utilizing the fire-resistant phosphate lithium iron phosphate electrode material, amalgamating with the technological heritage garnered in automotive battery safety for the construction of a distinctive protective standard in energy storage security, thereby guaranteeing the dependable and reliable safety of the energy storage system.

Moreover, VREMT affirms the comprehensive safety guarantee through the employment of multi-matrix testing verification, high-reliability simulation, and a wise energy management platform, ensuring battery security is bolstered, thereby preventing potential adversity before it ever materializes.

VREMT

Previously, VREMT had garnered numerous accolades including the “North Star Cup” for “Innovative Energy Storage Application Case” and the “SOLARBE Cup” of one of the most exceptional commercial energy storage solution enterprises in 2023, earning high esteem within the industry.

Since its inception, VREMT has been established on the foundation of EIC and has expanded into the storage energy sector, constructing an integrated energy business development system. Today, VREMT not only boasts industry-leading battery technology but has also reached automotive-grade quality standards in energy storage. In the future, VREMT will persistently uphold its corporate philosophy of “cleaner energy, healthier world”, providing impetus to the high-quality advancement of the energy sector.
